We Did It and Raised Nearly £4,000!
Following on from the first part of our charity fundraising event where Managing Director Chris Gibson and members of the team cycled 51 miles from Lancaster to Colne in blistering temperatures, Chris and the team set off on foot for the return leg. This involved walking 51 miles over two days from Colne to Lancaster along the Lancashire Witches Walk.
All the effort was to raise funds for three amazing charities who are finding themselves cash-strapped during these difficult times.
Greenfingers is the company charity for the second year running. Greenfingers is dedicated to supporting children and their families who spend time in hospices around the UK by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in.
In addition, some of the funds raised will go to St John’s Hospice in Lancaster and Pendleside Hospice in Burnley. Both these amazing hospices are working to enhance the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and you can still donate and support these amazing charities via our fundraising page:
