Hilltip IceStriker Pickup Sand & Salt Spreader-IceStriker 850
The IceStriker„¢ 12V electric salt and sand spreader is built to meet the requirements of the European pickup and light truck segment. The lightweight hopper body made of polyethylene, and mounted parts in stainless steel, provides you long lasting protection against corrosion and rust. The IceStriker„¢ spreader and controller system helps you save money and reduces the impact on the environment, while achieving the same de-icing results as before.
The salt spreader can easily be transformed into a complete brine solution sprayer or into a pre-wet combi spreader that moistens the spreading material. Integrated tanks in the double walled hopper body holds up to 450 l of liquid. The spreader can optionally be equipped with a 2 meter spray bar or a hose reel with hand-held spray nozzle.

COLOR SCREEN CONTROLLER
The controller lets you customize your spreading session according to your current situation. Automatic GPS-speedcontrol adjusts the amount of spreading material (g/m2) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. The controller additionally collects and saves essential data to an USB memory, allowing you to generate spreading reports. The controller also makes it easy to turn on functions, like vibrator, beacon and work light, from inside the cabin.
FLIP UP CHUTE
Stainless steel flip-up chute, designed for spreading salt with high humidity
INVERTED V
Inverted-V helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the auger. All in stainless steel.
VIBRATOR
Vibrator prevents bridging and de-icing material from clogging by shaking the inverted Vee.
AUGER
The 65 mm stainless steel auger gives you an even flow of material to the spinner.
TARP MECHANISM
Two piece tarp mechanism, prevents spill off into truck bed when filling the spreader.
TOP SCREEN
Top screen prevents rocks and big material chunks from getting into the hopper.
LIQUID LEVEL INDICATOR
Built-in salt liquid level check for optional liquid system, which also includes an electronic sensor.
