Vibration Testing
HAVS (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) testing is crucial for protecting the health and safety of workers who regularly use vibrating tools or machinery. Without proper monitoring, long-term exposure to vibration can lead to permanent damage to nerves, blood vessels, and joints in the hands and arms.
HAVS testing is an essential part of ensuring workplace safety and meeting legal obligations under health and safety regulations. Regular assessments help identify early signs of the condition, monitor exposure levels, and implement control measures to protect workers from long-term harm. This testing process is straightforward, non-invasive, and designed to support both employee wellbeing and compliance with safety standards. By identifying risks early, we can take proactive steps to minimize vibration exposure and ensure a safer working environment for everyone.
Our 'in-field' HAVs testing of equipment whilst in use provides accurate and reliable information about hand-to-arm vibration levels that are experienced by users. Any equipment that falls above the level set by the manufacturer will be serviced whilst our engineers are on-site.
