Sales Advisor (Haydock)
GGM Groundscare, a leading supplier of tractors, grounds maintenance and garden machinery across the North of England, are recruiting a Trade Counter Sales Advisor to work in our recently refurbished parts department / showroom as part of a redevelopment of our depot in Haydock.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our successful team, assisting with the day- to-day sales of lawn and garden machinery, accessories and spare parts.
The successful applicant’s duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify and maximise sales of HONDA and other leading brands of lawn and garden machinery & power products within the showroom environment.
- Identify and order parts for customers taken by telephone, email and at the trade counter
- Identify and order parts for the workshop and sales department
- Process and dispatch online sales orders for parts, machinery and accessories.
- Goods receive orders and allocate to correct binning locations
- Pick orders accurately and despatch using the Fed-Ex system
- Manage and maintain the showroom to a high standard of stocking and cleanliness
- To assist with the management of stock control
We are looking for:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to learn and willing to adapt to new challenges
- Ability to confidently navigate MS Office suite and work with online systems
- Experience within a customer service / sales environment is preferred
- Experience working within the Groundscare industry is advantageous.
- Forklift truck experience desirable
Salary: £23,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience
Job type: Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm = 42.5 hours
