Driving comfort
The transmission system with one hydraulic motor per wheel ensures easy driving. The flat deck platform with its ergonomically adjustable seat is extremely comfortable and offers easy to operate controls to the operator.
Approved for road use
The ZD series has an optional kit that facilitates movement between work sites. Highly visible and reassuring, you can drive with serenity while travelling between sites.
Robust design
The ZD series is intended for intense workloads. The transmission of rotary power to the mower deck is via a cardan shaft ensuring mechanical reliability.
An improved mower deck for professionals:
Kubota’s commercial mower deck continues to evolve and improve with each generation. The ZD1211 is a 3-blade, 140 mm deep deck featuring a flat design and Kubota’s unique baffling system that forces grass to be discharged evenly onto the ground, ensuring even cutting and fine mulching.
New suspension seat:
A more comfortable seat means less operator fatigue and greater productivity. With dual adjustable armrests, higher backrest, and lumbar support, the fully padded and adjustable seat ensures a high level of comfort. The seat can be adjusted upward, forward and backward to let the operator find optimum comfort.
Easy mower and engine access:
The ZD1211 is designed to keep you on the job longer between maintenance stops. When maintenance is needed, however, you can be assured of quick and easy maintenance of all the critical parts and functions. The engine bonnet protects the engine, yet is simple to open and offers easy access to the engine for maintenance tasks

Kubota’s original hydrostatic transmission offers faster, smoother response under all loading conditions. Except for an occasional fluid change, the hermetically sealed structure requires no maintenance and has no belts to change.
Steel reinforced 60″ rear discharge mower delivers exceptional performance. The professional 5.5″ deep deck helps to achieve a fast and clean cut even in tall grass or weeds.
This top of the line rear discharge model is ideal near streets, schools and parks as grass is discharged behind the mower rather than to the side. It also offers the operator greater control in confined spaces.
The rear discharge deck is reinforced with 1″ diameter steel rods on the skirt for increased durability and longevity. Reinforcements are easily replaceable if damaged or worn.
Kubota hydraulic lift system allows you to easily elevate the mower deck and roll right over obstacles with a simple push of the pedal. A special one-touch lock allows you to keep the deck raised for transportation.
Without drive belts and pulleys, the drive shaft smoothly transfers power from the engine to the deck. Shaft drive also requires less maintenance and provides greater dependability.
